a disruptive biological solution for ammonia emissions of livestock

Are you an excellent science / business-economics student with affinity to agribusiness and innovation, and who wants to work on a highly strategic subject for the Dutch and European economy?
Then SENI-Preps offers you a challenging internship in the advanced development of the business case of a technical solution at the source of the ammonia problem of intensive livestock production. SENI Preps BV (www.senipreps.com) is developing a unique solution for the reduction of ammonia
(NH3) emissions from intensive livestock farming by means of a biological feed additive, starting with pig farming in the Netherlands and consecutively for cattle and poultry farming. SENI Preps is financed among others by its founders, Rabobank and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands.

1. TASK DESCRIPTION
The intern is involved in all aspects of venture development in SENI-Preps and will be working in close cooperation with SENI Preps founders, senior experts in technology development and its commercialization (https://www.linkedin.com/in/marco-pieterse-9571a3/, https://www.linkedin.com
/in/gerrit-keizer-4107b212/). The tasks entail among others the following:

• Market research (competitor profiling including comparables (methane), Dutch and European nitrogen policies, VC investor profiling and selection.
• Business case development, cost price comparisons, strategy considerations, partnering.
• Preparation of the go-to-market.

2. CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate is a high potential student in the final stages of an MSc study with the following characteristics:

• Advanced educational level in business economics with an interest in innovation and
  agribusiness
• Skilled in market research, PPT presentation and reporting
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial attitude
• Eagerness to contribute to a sustainable society

Duration of the internship: 4-6 months.
